[Important] Notice Regarding the Introduction of the Okinawa Prefecture Accommodation Tax (Effective February 1, 2027)
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Hotel Rising Sun Miyakojima.Following the enactment of Okinawa Prefecture's accommodation tax ordinance, an accommodation tax will be introduced for stays on and after Monday, February 1, 2027.
We sincerely apologize for asking you to bear this additional cost, and we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
■ About the Accommodation Tax
[Applicable Stays]
Stays on and after Monday, February 1, 2027
※Even if your reservation was made before the above date, the accommodation tax will apply to any stay on or after February 1.
※Even for reservations that span across months, the accommodation tax will apply from the night of February 1 onward.
(Example: For a 2-night stay reserved from January 31 — January 31: not subject to the tax; February 1: accommodation tax applies)
[Tax Rate and Applicable Charges]
2.0% of the accommodation charge, per person per night (up to a maximum of 2,000 yen)
※If the tax regulations are revised after your reservation is made, the amount billed will be adjusted to reflect the new regulations in effect on the date of your stay. We appreciate your understanding.
[Payment Method]
※Please pay the accommodation tax at check-in, separately from the room charge paid at the time of booking.
